HOOKSETT, NH — A Rockland, Massachusetts, man is facing aggravated driving while intoxicated (DWI) charges after crashing his car into a barrier at the Hooksett Toll Plaza Thursday morning.
The incident followed multiple reports of an erratically driven vehicle speeding and weaving on Interstate 93. New Hampshire State Police dispatch first received calls at 6:20 a.m. about a white, four-door sedan with Massachusetts plates driving dangerously on I-93 northbound in Londonderry.
Witnesses reported that the car was changing lanes aggressively, passing vehicles on the breakdown lane, and exceeding 100 mph. There were also indications the sedan might have hit other cars along the highway. Troopers were immediately notified and began searching for the vehicle.
