‘Dangerous Heat’ Possibly Heading To New Hampshire This Week, Weather Forecasters Say
The National Weather Service issued a "hazardous weather outlook" alert Monday morning, warning of very hot temperatures later this week.
CONCORD, NH — Forecasters said Granite Staters can expect some very nice weather this week while also warning of “dangerous heat” just before and during the weekend.
A “hazardous weather outlook” alert was issued Monday morning calling for very high temperatures on Thursday and Friday, with “heat indices into at least the mid-to-upper-90s are increasingly likely.” More specific weather information is expected later this week.
For now, expect clear and warm days and cooler nights.

On Tuesday, expect sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s and a light wind in Concord and the capital region as well as Nashua and central and southern New Hampshire. Overnight lows will be in the lower 50s. It will be slightly cooler on the Seacoast.

It will be slightly warmer on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-80s during the day and sunny skies, accompanied by lows in the lower 60s during the evening.
On Thursday, it will be slightly warmer than Wednesday — sunny and hot with highs in the lower 90s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Friday with highs in the mid-90s. More rain and t-storms are expected during the evening and overnight hours.
Rain may continue into Saturday, but Sunday is expected to be a sunny and hot day.
