Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk … Unless It’s At Concord’s Hood Plant

Around 100 gallons of milk spilled at the plant on North State Street in Concord on Monday afternoon.

CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the Hood Plant on North State Street for a spill on Monday afternoon.

Just past 2:15 p.m., Capital Region Fire Dispatch sent firefighters to the plant for a building check report. After arriving and investigating, the fire commander reported to dispatch at around 2:45 p.m. that about 100 gallons of milk had spilled at the plant, according to scanner chatter.

The commander said Clean Harbors Environmental, a waste management company, as well as the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, had been notified.

Firefighters then cleared the scene.
