LOUDON, NH — New Hampshire State Police and Loudon police are investigating a crash on Ricker Road on Tuesday morning.
Just after 3:30 a.m., Merrimack County Dispatch and Capital Region Fire Dispatch began receiving calls about a car crashing into a house.
“The driver went off the road,” fire dispatch said, “may have hit a porch or some stairs on a house, as well. I’m unsure what you’re going to find when you get there, but FYI.”

A New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit was immediately requested to the scene. Fire dispatch later said the driver fled the scene. A resident in the area reportedly told police the man fled on foot heading south. The car was registered to a Concord man with several priors.
“There’s a lot of PD in the area,” fire dispatch said. “Use caution on approach.”

When the Loudon fire commander arrived, they confirmed a crash, saying the car was “well off the road” and into a porch and possibly the house. They said firefighters were unable to access the building yet, but confirmed the driver fled just before 4 a.m.
“We’re going to be at the scene for a while,” they said.
County dispatch said Concord police heard about the activity and warned the suspect was hostile to police and often carried a firearm.
A K-9 unit began tracking the suspect’s scent not long after, searching along Harvest Road, a nearby brook, and King Road.
“We have him,” one officer said a few minutes later.

Loudon EMTs were then dispatched to the area of King Road and Devyn Drive in Chichester, where the fleeing suspect was reportedly found and required assistance, while other firefighters cleared.
Around 4:15 a.m., another officer confirmed the suspect was in custody but added, “he’s pretty banged up. I think he’s probably going to be going to the hospital.”
