Dunkin' Donuts Donates $100K to One Fund Boston

About 2,000 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in the New England area are collecting donations to support those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

Dunkin' Donuts donated $100,000 to One Fund Boston to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, and will continue to raise money through New England-area locations.

“We are an organization with proud Boston roots, and our hearts are with those who were affected by the events at the Boston Marathon,” said Nigel Travis, CEO of Dunkin’ Brands in a statement. “We hope the donation to The One Fund Boston will help victims and their families during this difficult time."

Approximately 2,000 Dunkin' Donuts franchises across New England will collect donations from customers at registers for One Fund Boston starting on Monday and scheduled to last a week. There are number of Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in both Concord and Penacook.

In the days following the bombings, Dunkin' Brand franchisees in Massachusetts, have aided emergency workers by sending trucks to serve coffee and hot chocolate.
