Dunkin' Donuts is promoting its new Frozen Dunkin' Coffee by giving away free samples on Friday. Anyone can get a 3.5-ounce sample on Friday without purchase, while supplies last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. According to a Dunkin' Donuts blog post, Frozen Dunkin' Coffee is made with an extract using 100 percent Arabica coffee and Dunkin' Donuts premium coffee blended with ice. The drink can also be combined with the customer's choice of dairy and flavor shots.
The coffee brand will also be hitting up stores around the U.S. and surprising some lucky customers with $1,000 and a summer's supply of Frozen Dunkin' Coffee.
Frozen Dunkin' Coffee will be a permanent menu item nationwide, according to the origin story blog post. Customer requests for a frozen, caffeinated drink led to the creation of the Frozen Dunkin' Coffee, which has reportedly been in the works for years.

The effort is part of a three-year pledge, which was initiated in 2016, the hospital will receive a $50,000 donation each year.
The funds will help the Child Life Program, which focuses on the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of children and the impact that illness, injury, and hospitalization can have on patients and families.

“As small business owners, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees are committed to serving our local communities and we feel there’s no better way to celebrate Iced Coffee Day than with an annual donation to CHaD,” said Kevin Andrade, a New Hampshire Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee. “We hope our loyal customers will join us on May 24thfor Iced Coffee Day, where they can enjoy one of New England’s favorite beverages and receive a special thank you card featuring CHaD patient Elliot Perry, who was born premature and spent his first four months at the hospital.”
“We are so thankful for the support and dedication of the New Hampshire Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees Iced Coffee Day donation," said Sharon Brown, director of Community Relations at CHaD. "Each year, the $50,000 enables the hospital to continue to provide care for children and families through the Child Life program, which relies heavily on philanthropy. Our child life specialists provide important support to our patients by helping them understand a new diagnosis, cope with procedures and normalize their hospital experience. This goes hand-in-hand with family centered care, which is one of our top priorities."
