DWI Roadblock in Bow Yields 5 Arrests

New Hampshire State Police Troop D stopped 150 vehicles and made five arrests in a safety and sobriety checkpoint in Bow on June 7.
The checkpoint was at the intersection of Interstate 89, Route 3A and Hall Street.
Two people were charged with driving while intoxicated, two motorists were charged with possession of drugs (one felony), and one passenger was charged with possession of drugs.
"The New Hampshire State Police is committed to taking an aggressive stance in utilizing Safety and Sobriety Checkpoints as a tool to deter, detect, and apprehend persons while driving when intoxicated," police said in announcing the arrests.
