NEW HAMPSHIRE — Fall is always a peak time for concerts in Granite State as artists kick off or wind down national tours.

We’ve rounded up more than a dozen concerts in New Hampshire worth adding to your calendar — and there are plenty of concerts in the area that will have you dancing in your seat.

Vitamin String Quartet, Toad the Wet Sprocket, along with KT Tunstall and Vertical Horizon, and Monophonics, all play at either the Capitol Center for the Arts or the Bank of New Hampshire Stage in Concord in October. Symphony NH will also offer Halloween Pops: A Spooky Symphony.

The Wallflowers will be at the Nashua Center for the Arts on Sept. 14. Also playing in Nashua in October is the Robert Cray Band.

Concerts at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom continue for several more weeks. Upcoming shows include George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Collective Soul, Ziggy Marley with Burning Spear, ZZ Top, and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening.

Sophie B. Hawkins returns to Portsmouth on Sept. 12 (check out this story from March 2023, before her last appearance in New Hampshire). Superchunk also plays the 3S Artspace in Portsmouth on Sept. 13. Max Gomez and Shannon McNally perform at the Music Hall in Portsmouth on Sept. 16, while singer-songwriter Kendra Morris plays on Sept. 21 and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory perform Sept. 23 at The Music Hall with opening guest TORRES.

Other shows at the Tupelo in Derry include Aldo Nova, Great White, Buckcherry, and Richard Thompson.

The BankNH Pavilion in Gilford is closing out its season with Breaking Benjamin, Alison Krauss & Union Station, and Billy Currington and Kip Moore.

The Colonial Theatre in Laconia hosts Lori McKenna on Sept. 20.

The Bacon Brothers perform at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth on Sept. 11, while the Adam Ezra Group performs Sept. 12.
