Friends Of Boscawen Man Who Lost Home In Fatal Fire Raising Money To Help Him Rebuild: Follow-Up

Gary Bailey lost everything during the fire that destroyed his home on Gage Street on Dec. 1. Now, friends are helping him rebuild his life.

BOSCAWEN, NH — A GoFundMe effort has been started to assist a Boscawen man in rebuilding his life after he lost everything in a fatal fire on Dec. 1.

The effort was posted by Terriann Lynch, who called Bailey a “loved community member.” He lived at his home on Gage Street for about 35 years.

The effort started about six days ago.

“Gary needs the Boscawen community’s support now more than ever,” she said. “Please, in the spirit of the holiday and giving, share anything that could help benefit Gary as he rebuilds from here.”

At the time of publication, slightly more than $2,000 of the $3,500 goal had been raised.

In another effort, the community came together to raise more than $9,500 for the family of Ronald Fowler Jr., who died during the fire.
