Gabby Is 'Determined, Enthusiastic, Positive': Concord Star Student

CONCORD, NH — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages, at debate lecterns, and in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Gabby is one of the most determined, enthusiastic, and positive young people I know! Despite being legally blind and living with Neurofibromatosis Type 2, a tumor-prone disorder, she lets neither of those things stops her from accomplishing anything she sets her mind to. She works hard in school and is admired by all of her teachers. Next year, she will take an accelerated math class and plans again to be a part of her school's theater performance ensemble group.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

She is the first person to help a friend in need and will go out of her way to compliment someone, even though she may not know them personally. Thank you, Gabby, for being the kind and thoughtful person you are! With the positivity you bring to the world, you are destined to do great things!
