Lights, Life and Memories, which is a combination of the former separate agencies’ traditional hospice celebrations – Lights of Life in Concord and Tree of Memories in the Lakes Region – honors and remembers those in the 82 communities served by Granite VNA who have died. Community members are invited to participate by placing the names(s) of loved ones on the online Honor Roll, which resides on the Granite VNA website, and/or on a porcelain dove to be added to an evergreen tree at one of the Lights, Life and Memories locations in Alton, Concord, Meredith, Wakefield, and Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
“Hospice Lights of Life and Tree of Memories events have been meaningful for hundreds of community members who honor and remember their loved ones each year, and we are privileged to continue this legacy with Lights, Life and Memories,” said Beth Slepian, President and CEO, Granite VNA. “In addition to the remembrance traditions, Lights, Life and Memories raises awareness of hospice services that support hospice care across the 82 communities we serve.”

Community Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 10, at 11 a.m. in Alton, Concord, Meredith, Wakefield and Wolfeboro. The services will feature music, readings, reflection and remembrance. Also in December, businesses throughout the 82 communities served by Granite VNA will display purple Lights, Life and Memories candles in their windows to honor the lives of those who have passed and bring awareness to hospice services.
Granite VNA invites the public to participate in one or all of these special remembrance opportunities and welcomes donations to support its hospice services provided to patients in their homes and at Hospice House in Concord.
