Happy Mother’s Day From Lisa Taylor
"Thank you, Mom, for loving me like no other and for always having my back."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Lisa Taylor's letter to her mom:
My mom is a strong woman who puts everyone around her before herself. She struggles with a horrible depleting disease every day but never complains about her aches and pains. And still, she manages to tell us all what to do and how to do it while showing us strength and honor.
She is loving, kind and honest! She has been my role model my entire life. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters I am so proud of. I try so hard to make their lives perfect, but recently I have realized even though I try to do my best, I am sometimes wrong!
So I also want to take this time to say Mom, I’m so sorry I judged you. I’m sorry that I thought I could do things with my kids better than you did with yours, even though you were almost perfect.
The truth is, no one is perfect. We try as hard as possible to do the right thing to protect our children from hurt and mistakes, but that’s how we learn and get stronger, and that’s why I’m so proud of you, of me and of my daughters
Thank you, Mom, for loving me like no other and for always having my back. You are truly the most beautiful mother inside and out anyone could ever ask for.
