Hillsboro Woman Dies in Head-On Motorcycle Collision

HILLSBORO, NH — A 38-year-old Hillsboro woman was killed Sunday evening in a head-on collision between her motorcycle and a sedan on Old Henniker Road, according to the Hillsboro Police Department.

Hillsboro Police, Fire, and Rescue were dispatched to the scene on Sunday just before 6:30 p.m., following reports of the crash. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Ashley Sargent, the operator of the motorcycle, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

An investigation into the accident revealed that Sargent's motorcycle had crossed the center line, colliding with a sedan traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the sedan, who was not identified by police, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
