Pair From Lawrence Arrested On Drug Dealing Charges In Greenland After Interstate 95 Stop
Abigail Arias Gonzalez and Justane Garcia were accused of possessing 200 grams of fentanyl, 100 grams of cocaine, and a handgun on Jan. 2.
GREENLAND, NH — Two men from Massachusetts are facing gun and drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 95 on Jan. 2.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, a vehicle on the highway was stopped in Greenland for speeding. During a roadside investigation, a handgun was seized as well as “approximately 200 grams of fentanyl and 100 grams of cocaine,” Tyler Dumont, the public information officer for state police, said.
Members of the NSP Narcotics Investigations Unit became involved and arrested Abigail Arias Gonzalez, 25, and Justane Garcia, 23, both of Lawrence, Massachusetts, on possession of a narcotic drug with intent to distribute and felon in possession of a firearm charges, both felonies. They were processed and released. Garcia and Gonzalez are due in Portsmouth District Court for arraignment on Feb. 24.
