'Loving' Concord Mom 'Is Extra Special,' Kids Say

CONCORD, NH— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Dan, Bella, Cattie, Evelyn, Tasia and Gio who nominated Jessica Perez of Concord.

What makes your Mom extra special?

Our Mom is extra special because she is always doing what is best for us. Our Mom is loving. She makes sure we have everything we need and everything we want. She gets us to all our sporting practices and games. She is hardworking and then she comes home and works even harder to make sure our house is clean.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My Mom deserves the spotlight because she is always putting us first, and doing everything we need. We want her to know how much she is appreciated even when we don’t show it.
