Man Found Dead In Concord's Contoocook River
New Hampshire State Police said a man was found dead in Concord's Contoocook River. It was termed a "possible drowning."

CONCORD, NH — A man was found dead in Concord in the Contoocook River Sunday afternoon, authorities said. The death was categorized as a "possible drowning," according to New Hampshire State Police.
The man was a middle-age white man who has not yet been identified. Police said the man was found wearing red and black swim trunks and a gray T-shirt. He has an American flag tattoo on his right bicep, a blue tattoo on his left bicep and a red bracelet reading ,"In Memory of Papa Weed."
The man was found by an individual recreating on the river in shallow water near Island Shores Estates. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
