Man Killed In Bow After Dump Truck Body Fell On The 35-Year-Old

BOW, NH — Firefighters and EMS from Bow and Concord responded to the Londonderry Branch Turnpike on Saturday for a report of a 35-year-old man who was injured when the body of a dump truck fell on him, according to the dispatch.

Bow firefighters and police arrived at the scene at about 11:30 a.m. The Bow Fire Department was able to lift the dump body to free the man, but it was determined he died due to injuries from the accident.

Police ran the plate of a red Chevy dump truck and confirmed it was the vehicle involved and the man who was initially trapped under the dump truck's body.

The Bow Police Department was assisted on scene by the Bow Fire Department, Concord Fire Department, the New Hampshire State Police, and the NH Medical Examiners Office. The dispatcher stated that OSHA was calling to speak to the officer, however it is unknown if they were responding to the scene.
