Meredith Village Savings Bank Assistant VP To Retire In June

From MVSB: Carrie Jordan, Assistant Vice President, Branch and Business Development Manager for the Main Office of Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) in Meredith, is retiring on June 30, 2017. Jordan recently celebrated 31 years with the organization.

“Carrie’s leadership, expertise and capacity to build relationships have been an incredible asset to MVSB,” said Christine Harris, Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Services Officer. “It has been my absolute pleasure to work alongside her. Carrie is a beloved employee and colleague, who will be sorely missed. We can’t thank her enough for her remarkable service and dedication to the Bank these last 31 years.”

“I’m grateful for my time at MVSB,” added Jordan. “It’s been both an honor and joy to work for a company so dedicated to the local community and the health and well-being of its employees. I will miss all the wonderful people I’ve worked with over the years, as well as our many loyal customers, many of whom I’m proud to call friends.”

Jordan began her career at MVSB in 1986 as a Customer Service Representative at the Bank’s Ashland office. Since then, she has held many of the Bank’s in-branch roles, having also worked in MVSB’s Gilford, and Center Harbor and the Route 104 in Meredith branch locations, before transferring to the Bank’s Meredith Main Office in 2004. Jordan was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Branch and Business Development Manager in 2009, and has been instrumental in the continued growth and success of MVSB’s Main Office.

Jordan is an alumni of both the Northern New England American Banking Institute and Northern New England School of Banking. In 2001, Jordan furthered her studies in Banking at the New England School of Banking at Williams College. A dedicated Meredith volunteer, she currently serves on the board of Interlakes Community Caregivers. She has also donated countless hours to local schools and has been active with the Save for America program. Jordan was a longtime advocate and participant of Greater Meredith Junior Achievement, Altrusa and the Granite United Way and has spent many years as a Circle Program mentor.
