Meth Fugitive Wanted By The New Hampshire Department Of Corrections On A Probation Violation
The NH DOC is searching for Jason Shedenhelm, who is accused of failing to report to probation 15 months ago; he could be on the Seacoast.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is asking for the public’s help finding a drug fugitive with priors who was accused of failing to report to probation in May 2023.
Jason Lee Shedenhelm is 46, white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 150 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. Shedenhelm has no known aliases and has a tattoo on his right ankle. He has an active probation violation after being convicted on a possession charge and being accused of failing to report. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Aug. 11, 2023.
A ”violent tendencies” caution has been placed on his alert status due to prior convictions including simple assault, reckless conduct-domestic violence, stalking, and criminal threatening. Shedenhelm has also been convicted of driving while intoxicated, bail jumping, drug possession, and arranging to meet with a minor.

“Shedenhelm was last known to reside in Rochester, NH, but may be located anywhere in the seacoast region,” investigators stated.

According to reports online, Shedenhelm’s criminal history dates back close to two decades.
In August 2007, he was accused of being a habitual offender as well as simple assault in New Durham. A month later, he was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, transporting alcoholic beverages, and criminal mischief in New Durham. In February 2008, Shedenhelm pleaded guilty to the aggravated DWI charge, assault, and habitual offender charges.
Shedenhelm was charged with habitual offender, acts prohibited, and disobeying an officer in Dover after an incident in October 2010. He pleaded guilty to all three charges in January 2011 and was sentenced to a year of probation, six months suspended, and a $500 fine that was also suspended.
The meth charge was connected to an incident in Holderness in September 2019. Two years later, he pleaded guilty to a 12-month sentence, deferred for six months, with two years probation and a $620 fine. However, he violated probation and was sentenced to six months in jail in January 2023. Eight months later, he was accused of violating probation again and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
