Nearly 2 Tons Of Food Distributed Around Concord

CONCORD, NH — Nearly 2 tons of food was distributed around Concord and the capital region on Tuesday.

The Capital Region Food Program distributed the food to more than a dozen social service agencies, food pantries, and churches as part of its year-round effort to feed the hungry. The orgs received non-perishable items such as canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter, breakfast cereal, pasta, and soups.

Partner agencies receiving food as part of the distribution included: The Boscawen Congregational Church Food Pantry, the CenterPoint Church Food Pantry, the Christ the King Food Pantry, Concord Housing Authority, the Epsom Food Pantry, the Friends of Forgotten Children, the Gospel Light Food Pantry, Merrimack Valley Day Care, the Pittsfield Food Pantry, St. Paul’s Church Food Pantry, Suncook CAP, Undercover Food Pantry, Warner Connects, and the West Congregational Church Food Pantry.
