New England College Gives Out Honorary Alumni Award
Jeffrey Towle tries to avoid public recognition, but his love of giving back is something New England College had to acknowledge.

HENNIKER, NH — New England College has presented the honorary alumni award to Jeffrey Towle, president of Davis & Towle Insurance Group on Oct. 1.
The college says the award is given to a deserving non-alumni member of the New England College community, recognizing the individual's outstanding loyalty, dedication, and service beyond expectation.
"Jeffrey Towle has been a stalwart member of the board of trustees at New England College since 1996, serving on numerous committees including development, infrastructure, audit, and trusteeship," said Bill Deptula, Vice President of New England College.

As a parent of two New England College alumni, Jeffrey was further celebrated as a generous benefactor to several of the College's most important and pressing needs.
The ceremony took place at Putnam Performing Arts Center where his son, Ryan Towle, provided opening remarks regarding his father's impact on the Henniker community, and involvement with New England College. He lightheartedly joked about his father's lifelong aversion to public recognition, before going on to explain the steadfast nature of Jeffrey Towle's commitment to the Henniker community, and his ongoing legacy of giving back.
When speaking on the cornerstone values that his father has taught him, Ryan Towle said, "I have learned (to) be thoughtful when you give and give where you foresee the greatest impact in a positive way, making a difference in people’s lives…Be a leader and a role model. In that, inspire others to give and make investments in our communities and institutions."
