New Hampshire State Police Investigating Motorcycle Crash On Interstate 93 In Concord

Concord fire and rescue teams took a woman to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Saturday morning near Exit 12.

CONCORD, NH — Interstate 93 north in Concord on Saturday was backed up for miles after a motorcycle crash.

Just before 11:15 a.m., New Hampshire State Police and Concord fire and rescue teams were sent to the area of the Exit 12 interchange for a report of a crash on the northbound side of the highway. Dispatch told firefighters they heard the crash was just after the sharp curve and close to the off-ramp.

Arriving firefighters, driving south, confirmed the crash, which was just north of the on-ramp.

“One down in the roadway,” the fire commander confirmed.

State troopers shut down the right lane to traffic and confirmed the crash with injuries. The trooper also checked the Massachusetts registration of a Kawasaki involved in the crash.

The fire commander requested a trauma alert at Concord Hospital, stating the crash victim was a woman in her late 40s who was ejected from the motorcycle. Dispatch asked if she was wearing a helmet, and the commander said, “Affirmative on the helmet.”

She was quickly taken to the hospital with her husband in tow, state police said.

Concord fire and rescue teams returned to service at 11:45 a.m.
