NH DUI Patrols During Race Weekend: Police

New Hampshire State Police said officers will conduct drunk-driving patrols in the Concord area this weekend.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police said officers will conduct drunk-driving patrols in the Concord area this weekend. The effort is supported with federal grant money. Police said the patrols will be held in the "Greater Concord" area but did not provide further specifics.

The patrols will coincide with New Hampshire Race Weekend, which features the Foxwoods 301 Sunday.

"The New Hampshire State Police has taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving when impaired," state police Sergeant Daniel Baldassarre said in a statement. "New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent."
