New Hampshire State Police said Joshua Cross, of Northfield, was held on $25,000 bail on fentanyl and methamphetamine distribution charges.

NORTHFIELD, NH — New Hampshire State Police on Thursday said officers arrested two people and seized two guns in a drug bust in Northfield. Officers raided a residence on Ledge Road and arrested convicted felon Joshua Cross, 41 (shown at left). He was charged with distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine and possessing a gun. Police also arrested Paul Costella, 45, of Franklin (shown at right), at the residence on a probation violation.
Police said the raid was conducted after a "multi-month narcotics investigation." Officers found fentanyl and methamphetamine in the residence, police said.
Cross was held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment Friday in Merrimack Superior Court. Costella was held on a 72-hour probation hold at the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
