NH Handyman Planted Hidden Cameras In Bedrooms, Bathrooms: Police
New Hampshire handyman Peter Mugford, of Alton, was arrested after police said he planted hidden cameras in clients' bedrooms and bathrooms.

ALTON, NH — A New Hampshire handyman was arrested this week after police said he planted hidden cameras in clients' bedrooms and bathrooms and captured intimate footage for himself. Peter Mugford (pictured), of Alton, was charged with a host of crimes, including wiretapping, burglary, stalking and violation of privacy.
"Mugford was using his profession as a contractor/handyman to access client homes and place hidden cameras in client bedrooms, bathrooms, and other private areas of the home," Alton police Chief Ryan Heath said in a statement. "He was also found to be actively video recording clients during private moments, to include personal conversations. Mugford would then return to the homes without the owners knowledge or consent to retrieve cameras and footage he captured."
Mugford was charged with five counts of wiretapping and two counts of burglary.
