Boat Propeller Cuts Girl On Lake Winnipesaukee In NH
New Hampshire State Police said a 10-year-old girl tubing on Lake Winnipesaukee suffered a serious foot laceration from a boat propeller.

MEREDITH, NH — A girl was cut by a propeller while tubing on Lake Winnipesaukee over the weekend, authorities said. The 10-year-old was one of three children aboard a tube being pulled by a Massachusetts man operating a 28-foot boat Sunday at about 1 p.m., according to New Hampshire State Police Lieutenant Crystal McLain.
"The kids fell off of the tube and the operator put the boat into neutral as they attempted to board the vessel," McLain said in a statement. "One of the children ... kicked as she approached the boat, striking her right foot on the boat’s propeller causing a large laceration to her foot."
The girl, whose name was not released due to her age, was transported to Lakes Region General Hospital for treatment.
