NH Police: Couple Steals Jeep On Test Drive

New Hampshire police said they are searching for a couple who stole a Jeep from a Lebanon car dealership.

LEBANON, NH — New Hampshire police are asking the public's help finding a couple who took a Jeep for a test drive last week and never came back. The incident happened last week in Lebanon, police said. Peter Dotzel, 36, and a female accomplice (pictured above) are wanted.

Police said the couple arrived at a local dealership Thursday in a black Jeep Cherokee. They used fake information to set up the purchase of a gray 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with license plate number 229-7669, police said.

"Dotzel took possession of the vehicle and was supposed to return to the dealership to finalize the deal, but failed to do so," Lebanon police Chief Richard Mello said in a statement.
