CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police are asking the public's help finding a convict who escaped during a family visit last week. Lawrence Eldridge (pictured), also known as "Tinker," fled Tuesday, June 26, while visiting a family member outside the prison, police said. He was last see at the Alton traffic circle. He was still at large as of Monday, July 2. Eldridge, who is 5 feet 9 inches and 215 pounds, has ties to the Ossipee area, police said. At the time of his escape, he was serving time for kidnapping and criminal threatening. Anyone with information is asked to contact New Hampshire State Police at 603-271-3636.
