NH Prison Inmate At Large; Convicted Of Kidnapping
New Hampshire authorities said Lawrence Eldridge walked off during a family visit. He was serving time for kidnapping.

CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire State Police are asking the public's help finding a convict who escaped during a family visit last week. Lawrence Eldridge (pictured), also known as "Tinker," fled Tuesday, June 26, while visiting a family member outside the prison, police said. He was last see at the Alton traffic circle.
He was still at large as of Monday, July 2.
Eldridge, who is 5 feet 9 inches and 215 pounds, has ties to the Ossipee area, police said. At the time of his escape, he was serving time for kidnapping and criminal threatening.
