CONCORD, N.H. - Nonprofits from all over New Hampshire are gearing up for this year's NH Gives drive, a 24-hour giving initiative .

Donors will be encouraged to visit www.NHGives.org for 24 hours starting at 6 p.m. on June 6, to donate to their favorite nonprofit organization, to discover other organizations doing good work, and to show their support through social media. Incentive prizes will be awarded throughout the 24-hour period to add to the excitement.

NH Gives – an initiative of the NH Center for Nonprofits – is designed to bring the state together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for New Hampshire’s nonprofits. In 2017 nearly 300 organizations raised more than $310,000 dollars during NH Gives.

“NH Gives is about bringing people and causes together on a single day that will have a lasting impact on our communities,” said Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the NH Center for Nonprofits. “We are encouraging all members of the community – nonprofits, their board members, volunteers, as well as business partners – to learn more about how they can become involved in the day.”

Any 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit serving New Hampshire communities can participate in the day. Eligible organizations must register on www.NHGives.org prior to May 21. More than 200 nonprofits have already created profiles on the site including these Concord area organizations:
