Plane Crashes Into NH River; 2 Survive
New Hampshire State Police said an experimental aircraft crashed into the Connecticut River, injuring the pilot and a passenger.

HAVERHILL, NH — A plane crashed into a New Hampshire river Sunday, injuring the pilot and a passenger, according to New Hampshire State Police. The plane was a small experimental aircraft and the pilot was attempting to land in the river at about 1:15 p.m. when the crash happened.
The pilot was seriously injured and medflighted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The pilot was expected to survive. The passenger suffered minor injuries. The names of the individuals were not released.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
