She is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014. She went through 2 1/2 years of treatment and has been cancer-free for eight years. She has chosen a career in child care and will continue working as a child care provider after she graduates. Her family is so very proud of all her accomplishments.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

She is a fighter and a strong young woman.
