Saturday’s Powerball Jackpot Expected To Be The 8th Highest In History, According To NH Lottery
The $820 million jackpot has an estimated $383.5M one-time cash payout before taxes are withheld; iLottery player wins $100K on Gimme 5.

CONCORD, NH — Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is expected to be the eighth-largest in history, according to New Hampshire Lottery officials.
No one has won the jackpot since early September, when two players won $1.78 billion, the second-largest jackpot in history. On Saturday, the jackpot should be around $820 million. The one-time cash payout, before taxes, is expected to be around $383.5 million.
“As we eagerly wait for a lucky player to win this growing Powerball jackpot, it has now risen beyond $800 million,” Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said. “Last week alone, this jackpot helped spur nearly $1.1 million in Powerball sales — and it’s great to think about how much of that we’ll be able to deliver back to the public schools. I would still love to hand out an $820 million check to a lucky Granite Stater, so purchase a $2 ticket at your local retailer or via NH iLottery to get in on the action.”
