Scott Brown Tied with Shaheen in NH Senate Race

He hasn't even said if he's running yet, but a new poll released Thursday shows Republican Scott Brown in a dead heat with Democratic U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.

The poll, conducted by Purple Strategies, a bipartisan public affairs firm, shows that with 10 months to go before the election, Shaheen and Brown are tied, with both candidates holding 44 percent of the vote. And Brown leads Shaheen by 9 percent among independent voters.

The former Massachusetts Senator hasn't said yet if he will run for senate here, but he recently sold his home in Massachusetts and moved to Rye. He has also made numerous appearances at political events in New Hampshire over the past year.
