Snowy, Wintery Mix, Freezing Rain, And Sun, Too, Expected This Week In New Hampshire: Weather Forecast

The National Weather Service issues a "hazardous weather outlook" warning of "a mixed bag of precipitation" and "wind chills" this week.

CONCORD, NH — Forecasters are warning of stormy winter weather this week in New Hampshire.

The National Weather Service issued a “hazardous weather outlook” on Sunday afternoon, warning of a “mixed bag of precipitation” and “wind chills,” too, during the next few days.

Wind chill factors are expected to fall as low as -5 to -10 degrees through Monday morning in Merrimack, Hillsborough, and Rockingham counties. Light snow is then expected to move into the region on Monday afternoon and evening, making driving a bit slippery in spots, according to the alert.

More snow is expected Tuesday morning, followed by freezing rain and sleet, then more snow.

“A mixed bag of precipitation is expected later Tuesday evening into Wednesday before possibly changing to rain in the afternoon,” the alert stated. “Snow, then a period of sleet and freezing rain is possible. This could make the Wednesday morning commute slick.”

Temps will warm up on Wednesday, into the lower 40s, but will drop down to the 20s during the evening.

Expect sun and highs in the lower 40s on Thursday with a chance of snow and rain overnight and into Friday and Saturday.
