CONCORD, NH — There is welcome relief from the recent heat in the form of showers and thunderstorms this weekend in the Granite State.
The National Weather Service is forecasting cloudy skies on Friday, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s across the state. Showers are likely overnight with temperatures in the mid-50s.
More rain is expected, including thunderstorms in the late afternoon, on Saturday, with highs in the upper 60s. Rain and possibly thunderstorms are expected in the early evening and then rain will continue into the overnight hours.

The sun returns on Sunday with highs in the lower to mid-70s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s. Rain is expected during the overnight hours.

On Monday, sunny skies are expected with highs in the mid-80s. There is a possibility of showers in the evening and overnight hours on Monday night and into Tuesday and Tuesday night.
Wednesday is expected to be sunny and warm, with highs in the mid-80s.
