Town Of Bow: Hydrant Flushing Friday

The WhiteWater, Inc. will be conducting its Semi-annual hydrant flushing program in the Town of Bow on Friday September 19, 2025. Flushing is scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and will continue until the entire system has been completed. Hydrant flushing is conducted to remove any accumulated sediment from the water pipes that may impair water quality. The program also provides the opportunity to inspect hydrants to ensure they will operate properly in the event of a fire. During the flushing you may notice temporary loss in water pressure and water discoloration. If you experience discolored water, run the cold water for 5 to 10 minutes, or until clear. If your water does not clear after 24 hours contact WhiteWater, Inc. at (603) 324-8318. Please avoid doing laundry during this period.
