Tractor-Trailer Rolls Over Closing Highway On-Ramp In Hooksett

Update: A truck carrying sand, gravel rolled at the Exit 10 onramp near West River Road. The driver was uninjured; the exit has reopened.

HOOKSETT, NH — Hooksett fire and rescue teams, and New Hampshire State Police are at the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer at the Interstate 93 south onramp at West River Road around 11:15 a.m. on Monday.

A tractor-trailer truck, with Continental Paving logos, was entering the onramp and the truck rolled over, dumping a load of sand and gravel on the roadway.

West River Road remains open at this time, however, the onramp is closed. Crews from NH DOT, State PoliceSP worked to detour traffic around the closed on-ramp.

The driver was evaluated by Hooksett medics and refused transport to the hospital.

At just before 3 p.m., the exit reopened.
