'Untimely' Concord Death: Police Ask Public's Help

Concord police said Gregory Michael, 55, was found dead on Greenwood Avenue last week.

CONCORD, NH -- Concord police are asking the public's for tips after a city man was found dead on Friday. Gregory Michael, 55, was found dead Friday on Greenwood Avenue downtown. An autopsy was inconclusive and Concord Police Lt. Sean Ford said Tuesday the cause of death was still under investigation.

"Detectives believe Mr. Michael arrived in Concord (Thursday) at approximately 4:30pm after having been dropped off by a bus on N. Main St in the area of the clock tower and the state capital building," Ford said in a statement. "He was last seen in the vicinity of Green Street ... Mr. Michael was reportedly having trouble walking, and unidentified Good Samaritans were attempting to assist him."
