Woman Taken To Concord Hospital After Incident On Centre Street
Concord cops, firefighters, and EMTs were sent to a Centre Street mental health call Friday afternoon. One woman was taken to the hospital.
CONCORD, NH — A woman was taken to Concord Hospital after a mental health issue on Centre Street on Friday afternoon.
Around 4:45 p.m., police dispatch received a report about a possible shooting at an apartment building near Union and Green streets. The caller hung up before dispatch was able to get more information, saying they were frantic. Dispatch attempted to contact the caller several times but was unsuccessful.
Officers, firefighters, and EMTs arrived at the scene. Fire staged while an officer confirmed there was no shooting or gun, but a woman was in distress and injured, according to scanner chatter. She was unresponsive but breathing, a second officer said. Firefighters and EMTs then entered the apartment.

A second ambulance was also requested to the scene to assist, and the woman was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment.
