EXETER, NH — Get ready for two holiday events in Exeter in the coming weeks.

The Exeter Holiday Parade Committee will host a craft fair fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the town hall building by the bandstand. A previous craft fair was held in May. Vendors are almost sold out for the event.

“The Saturday-after-Thanksgiving Craft Fair is the perfect opportunity to purchase some utterly unique items for holiday gift giving, and admission is free to the public,” the org said. “In addition to the variety of crafts, the Town Hall stage will be set with holiday scenes perfect for capturing family photos. Patrons are welcome to use the stage to take their own holiday-themed photos.”

The Exeter Area Garden Club has been named the 2022 Exeter Holiday Parade Grand Marshals. Lindt candy will be handed out although the route. Awards for various parade categories will be given out at the bandstand.

“The 2022 theme for the Holiday Parade is ‘Toys, Trains and Candy Canes’,” the org said. “Marching bands, floats from community groups, and businesses, as well as many familiar faces, will populate the parade ahead of the most familiar face of all... Santa Claus.”
