Hampton Falls police involved in <a href="https://hampton-northhampton.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/2-barricaded-in-hampton-falls-home-swat-team-on-scene">a standoff</a> Tuesday were notified after a reported Exeter car chase that turned out to be a "misunderstanding."   Around 6:45 p.m., Hampton Falls police said they received word of a chase that started in Exeter. Exeter police Sgt. Steven Bolduc said the incident was a routine traffic stop and not a chase. The driver of the vehicle was a foreigner who stopped for police near the Route 95 tolls in Hampton and allowed to continue without incident. "It was a misunderstanding," Bolduc said.
