Mirsky's List: Christmas Eve Eve Edition 2025

This is your intrepid reporter, Exeter Attorney & political blogger David Mirsky, joining you on this Christmas Eve Eve day of the soon to be gone gone year of 2025, with another list of the "strongest" candidates for President in the coming New Hampshire Primary Presidential Election Year of 2028.

I'll keep this brief, because clearly this whole article is just a blatant attempt by me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, wishing you all Good Health & a kind and pleasant disposition in all your endeavors in this greatest of all Happy Holidays(!!!) seasons.

So here's my list. Please let me know your thoughts on my list in the space for comments below. Because it's only my off-the-cuff view of things and your views are more important:

REPUBLICANS

1. Current US Vice President J.D. Vance. A very, very strong candidate for public office, as shape-shifters often are. If you don't know what I'm getting at, consult the X-Men's blue star, Mystique.

2. Current U.S. Secretary of State & former US Senator from the Great State of Florida, Marco Rubio. No kidding. He could be our next President.

3. Ivanka Trump. One thing First Daughter Ivanka has proved this year: She gets what politics are really all about. Check out her recent speech (on YouTube) before a crowd of war-weary Israelis in Tel Aviv. It was real. (Or so it seemed.)

4. Our current U.S. President, Donald J. Trump, winning an illegal third term? No.

DEMS

1. Gavin Newsom, current Governor of the highly controversial but powerful Great State of California. This is who the true blue Democrats I know want to be their candidate for President right now. Sorry to #MayorPete/US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, & former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. My own personal choice right now is

2. Kamala. She knows how to do this. Has already been vetted.
