Exeter Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash On Epping Road

Chief Poulin: Good Samaritans attempted to save the rider Friday before fire and rescue teams arrived to take him to the hospital.

EXETER, NH — Exeter police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Epping Road Friday.

Around 4 p.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the area of the intersection of Route 27 and Watson Road for a report of a crash between a motorcycle and a car. According to a police investigation, Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin said a girl who was driving a 2017 Ford Fusion stopped on Watson Road before taking a left-hand turn onto Epping Road. While doing so, “It appears that the driver did not notice the 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling westbound on Epping Road,” he said.

The motorcycle struck the driver’s side door, Poulin said, and suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
