Exeter Police Looking For Assistance In Finding Missing Teenagers

Exeter police are looking for assistance from the public in locating two missing juveniles. Jenna Smith, 14, and Jonathan Wood, 15 are missing according to Exeter Police Chief Stephen Poulin.

EXETER, NH - Exeter police are looking for assistance from the public in locating two missing juveniles. Jenna Smith, 14, and Jonathan Wood, 15 are missing according to Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin.

Wood was last seen at 10 Myrtle Street in Exeter, NH on Thursday at approximately 10 pm. He is described as 5’7”, 150 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes, and has distinct facial acne. He was last known to have been wearing a black fabric motorcycle-style jacket, and Nike blue/black/white sneakers. He was also carrying an orange/black duffel bag which may have contained more clothing items. Wood wears a thick silver chain and has a diamond stud earring in each ear.

Smith is described as 5’3”, 145 lbs, blue eyes and hair that was recently dyed black and was last seen at 17 Brentwood Rd in Exeter, NH on Friday at approximately 1:45 am. She wears black glasses and was last known to have been wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a pink and blue swirl pattern on the front, and black pants. She also wears a silver chain with a cross and a silver chain with a paw print attached.
The juveniles are believed to be together and maybe operating a 2016 Honda CRV color grey with NH registration 1916409. There is a Honda Barn decal on the rear hatch.

Police are concerned for their safety and anyone with information is urged to contact the Exeter Police Department at 603-772-1212.

SAU 16 Superintendent Dr. David Ryan issued a statement regarding the two missing students from Exeter Region Cooperative schools:

“Our thoughts are with the Smith and Wood’s families, and we hope Jenna and Jonathan are quickly found safe and come home soon. We are thankful to the Exeter Police Department and all corresponding agencies for their swift action and diligence in this process to help find our two students. We cannot comment on any details of an ongoing police investigation surrounding two minors, and we wish everyone involved a speedy and positive resolution. We continue to have supports in place for the students and faculty at Cooperative Middle School and Exeter High School at this time, and we are cooperating in every way possible.”
