NH Police Seek Woman Who Assaulted Elderly Mother
New Hampshire police said a woman was photographed striking her elderly mother about the head.

BRENTWOOD, NH — Brentwood police are asking the public's help identifying a woman accused of assaulting her elderly mother. Police said a witness reported the assault happened June 29.
"The witness stated that the elderly woman was struck on numerous occasions by the alleged daughter as she was transitioned from the vehicle to the wheelchair and back," Brentwood police said in a statement. "The witness further stated that the elderly woman was struck about the face, back, and had her legs kicked while being verbally reprimanded by the alleged daughter."
The witness took photos of the alleged assault (pictured). One shows the woman with her arm around her mother in an apparent chokehold.

The alleged assault happened as their pair shopped at a local business, police said.
