Paving Scheduled In Exeter This Week

Portions of some Exeter roads will be closed to traffic this week as due to paving on Tremont, Daniel and Lincoln streets.

EXETER, NH — Portions of Exeter roads will be closed to traffic due to paving scheduled for this week. Paving on Tremont and Daniel streets is planned for Tuesday, and paving on Lincoln Street is scheduled for Friday, according to town officials. During that time, on-street parking will be prohibited as the asphalt is being placed and the roads are cured.

For those needing to park, 15 alternative parking are available at the Handkerchief Factory through the end of August.

This week's paving is some of the final roadwork being conducted in the area of Tremont, Daniel and Lincoln streets, according to town officials. After paving, the contractor will paint the roads, install bollards and benches, plant perennials and do other cleanup work to fully complete the project by September, town officials say.
