Pedestrian Struck By CSX Freight Train In Exeter: Police Chief
A man is suffering from serious injuries after an incident early Monday morning at the Lincoln Street train station.
EXETER, NH — Exeter police are investigating a train and pedestrian accident on Monday morning.
Just after 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to the Lincoln Street train station for a report of a man struck by a CSX freight train. The man was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to Chief Stephan Poulin of the Exeter Police Department.
“The incident caused the closure of Main Street and Front Street railroad crossings for a brief period of time,” he said. “Exeter police are currently working with the CSX authorities (and) the case remains under investigation.”

The man’s name was being withheld, Poulin said.
