Night construction work will begin on Portsmouth Avenue on May 5 as part of the <a href="http://exeternh.gov/publicworks/portsmouth-avenue-sewer-replacement-project-and-detour" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Portsmouth Avenue Sewer Replacement Project</a>. The night-time work is scheduled to continue until May 13, and it is planned for Mondays to Thursdays only, according to the town. The road will be open to traffic at night, with minor delays possible.
