Red Cross to Hold Online Giving Event for NH Families

Families in Exeter are invited to participate in the one-day online Giving Day event on Wednesday, April 26 by the American Red Cross.

From the American Red Cross, New Hampshire and Vermont Region: The American Red Cross is asking people in New Hampshire and Vermont to remember those families impacted by disaster and to #help1family on Giving Day, Wednesday, April 26. Your donation can provide hope and urgent relief such as food, blankets and other essentials to people who need it most.

“There is a family that has lost everything to a home fire or other disaster in New Hampshire and Vermont, on average, every 17 hours. This one-day nationwide event will raise funds to ensure the Red Cross is able to meet the critical mission of helping those families who have been affected by emergencies,” said Lloyd Ziel, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the American Red Cross in New Hampshire and Vermont.

For just $88.50*, someone can support a family of three with a day’s worth of meals and snacks, comfort and other essentials. A donation of $60* will help provide six hearty meals for disaster victims. $30* can ensure that children and families stay warm and can get a good night’s sleep with six comforting blankets.
