SEABROOK, NH — A DWI checkpoint will be held in the Seacoast area this week. New Hampshire State Police and officers with Seabrook police, Hampton police and the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office will conduct the checkpoint. The exact time and date were not divulged, per State Police policy. said the checkpo "A review of records has shown that the use of alcohol by individuals who operate motor vehicles has resulted in an alarming number of deaths and personal injury accidents," State Police Lieutenant John Hennessey said in a statement. "Therefore, in an effort to maintain safe roads in Seabrook, the New Hampshire State Police ... will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint."
